i am used to driving laggy engines, big turbos on the old C1J, i don't mind sacrificing 1000 rpm low down for 1000 rpm more revs and more power. I do have a spare turbocharger i was thinking of getting bigger turbine and compressors fitted into, a bigger 2.5inch exhaust would probably help also. I am only really tuning this engine for fun and to prove a point as no one in the UK thinks much of them in favour of the F4r and the F4rt.

If the engine dies its not too much of an issue as they are cheap over here in the uk and plentiful

Sorry , only a Joke , for me is only a Ford Cosworth 24V V6 a option to change the Engine in my Twingo . Cool

Why not , i had a very good Time (6 Years) with the Engine (BOA) Scorpio MK1 .

Der Motorblock ist Made in Germany (Köln V6) , deutsche Qualität von Cosworth veredelt . Cool

Outlet - 8,850 mm

do you have an engine number or an idea of what car this camshaft came in? i have found a company that can regrind it to reduce the base circle diameter

This Info i have from Twingo Doku .
But i'm not sure how good this Info .
Normal from D4F 702 to 728 .
But it comes a Change by D4F A 702 to D4F B 702 ,
The Zylinder Head changed .
One Tuner have a Camshaft , but he give only for Engine D4F B 7...
Not for D4F A 702 !!!
D4F B 702 , 712 , 714 have new Zylinderhead , but with trottle inside .
D4F 708 , 722 , 728 Trottle on Side .
Twingo Doku say old Camshaft for Lift and Timing , at 740 new camshaft .
Old Cam is higher .

Perhaps you try to contact Weber83, he had a 290° camshaft in his D4Ft, that was also regrinded.

Hier geht es aber um ein Alltagsauto , der Twingo von Weber war ein reines Spaßauto mit viel E85 !
Bevor ich mir im Alltag beim 16V eine 290° Nocke antun würde , dann doch lieber die umgeschliffene 260° von Dbilas .

Was ich damit sagen will, er soll sich mal mit jemanden in Verbindung setzen, der Ahnung vom Tuning eines D4Ft Motors hat und nicht mit jemanden der glaubt, die Luftmasse durch Löcher im Luftfiltergehäuse einstellen zu können...
