Kraftstoffdruckregler von Reichard-Motorsport??

Hallo! Habe mir einen regelbaren Kraftstoffdruckregler von Reichhard zugelegt! Nun meine Frage: Weiß jemand wie diser eingebaut und richtig angeschlossen wird? Die anleitung die dabei ist , ist voll fürn Ar...! Währe schön wenn sich einer meldet der schon son teil eingebaut hat! Gruß Christian

hmm...

ich hab zwar keinen eingebaut, weil ich den C3G hab, aber ich weiss wie das teil aussieht.. bau doch einfach das Original aus, und schliess dann nacheinander die Schläuche am neuen Teil wieder dran.

Die sehen doch generell gleich aus, oder?

Der Orginale ist viel kleiner! Reichhard hatte mal einen im Program der nur getauscht werden mußte! denn gibt es aber leider nicht mehr! Hatte mir das auch leichter vorgestellt! werde die Tage mal die einbauanleitung hier reinstellen! Voll kompliziert!

First of all, my appologize if I'm not asking on right please, but could't find better.
I'm driving my Twingo on LPG, but it also consumes a lot of fuel just for cold starting and first few meters ride.
Know some people that had similar problem with other car, and it was faulty fuel pressure regulator (it was leaking through vacuum membrane).

Please, can somebody show me with picture position of fuel pressure ragulator, to check if it leaks? I cannot find it.

Please, do not tamper with the fuel pressure regulator.
Since 2000 it sits inside the fuel pump, so you have no access and it can not leak.
If your consumption of liquid fuel is too high, then your LPG installation is adjusted too lean.
Check the LTFT with OBD-bluetooth dongle.

Seems that I didn't wright it very well to be understood. :-7 My petrol consume is too high, and I'm driving only on LPG. In one month I add like 20l petrol (know, because I always fill it up to full tank).

So you didn´t understand what Ulli did write. Due to a too lean adjustment of the LPG, the lambda adaptation adds too much when running on fuel which leads to that high fuel consumption.
But if you still are thinking the fuel pressure regulator is the bad guy, I would recommend to check the fuel pressure with an external gauge.

It should be 3.5bar against atomspheric pressure with a returnless fuell system (regulator in the tank). You can see the pressure regulator in the first picture at the bottom of the pump.

Another question: Do you really see when running on LPG? Not that you run more on petrol then you are expecting....

And the other thing is: do not trust your fuel gauge.
It will subtract one block from the scale each 70km.
Regardless of the real consumption. Until it's on empty.
But when you try to fill up it will only take 5 liters or so.
People get so used to drive with the gauge on empty* that they get confused when the tank rally gets empty some times.

Let it run through a translator

*you can buy a tank fopper an install it to get around the false indication.
This thing disconnects the signal to your fuel gauge and reconnects with a delay on ignition-on.
So it does some kind of reset every time you switch on the ignition.
