I've just spoken to Matthew, to make sure the head turned up, which it has. So it will be going over to factory in Belguim soon. Expect a production date of around 12 weeks as the factory is running flat out, however more demand could bring this forwards Very Happy

Price wise, he expects it to be very simillar to the existing K4M and F4R cams, so around the £600 mark.

It seems that there is a prospective for affordable K4M-854 (VVT) camshafts.

Sorry, yes I wanted to preview the message before adding an explanation. However I submitted the message by mistake. Appologies, I didn't intend to spam post comments, but to let you all know that camshafts are underway in the development and I will keep you updated with progress.

My previous thread here was titled AVL Schrick camshafts but Catcams are developing them instead, hence creating a new post. The above quotes are indede from 133.net

Hopefully the measuring of the head/camshafts will be completed soon and then the cams will be produced from billet blanks a few weeks after

It has taken a long time to get them produced, but two sets of cams have now been fitted and tested

Stage1 cams with K-tec racing 4-1 manifold exhaust system and panel filter:- 163bhp mapped and running on standard ECU

Stage2 cams with K-tec racing 4-1 manifold exhaust system, head porting and chamber work, custom induction:-174bhp partly mapped but also needs standalone ECU Crying or Very sad

Is there a diagram of the test existing? Value of max torque a which rpm??
