Yes you have to.

But, please check first what happened to the O-rings. Page 57 of 103 MR-C manual.
The engine of the R4 had the Excelnyl gaskets an I choose the thickest one without measuring.
With the O-rings you should not have a problem, exept when the O-ring has split and now sits between cylinder and motor housing.
Please also read and check what is written obout the cylinder protusion.


You have to open all big ends. Make shure you don't mix the parts up.
A pain in the ass. With the R4 you had to remove a stabilizing bar (not the stabilzer) between the longitudinal chassis beams.
But I think with the C3g thats easier.
