There is no family in Russia, which did not affect the war of 1941-1945.

It's the same in Germany.
One grandvather of mine lost their house and farm in Silesia when he was a 13 year old child. Other became a POW somewhere in Russia at the age of 17. They both don't talk much about this time, I think it was a horrible time.
