Yes, I got a universal boot now made of rubber and stretchable, but I wanted to remove the joint, so I can clean it better. Haynes for Renault 5 doesn't mention anything regarding difficulty taking it out, it just says to pry out one of the star arms retainer . If it's hard to take it out I'll just clean it from the outside.

Ah, du meinst das äußere Gelenk.
Das ist ganz schwer zu zerlegen und extrem schwer wieder zusammenzubauen.
Zerlegen geht noch, aber für den Zusammenbau musst du dir ein Werkzeug aus einem großen Flachschlitzschraubendreher schleifen um den Retainer wieder einzuhängen.
Da ist sehr viel Spannung drauf.

Yes, I think I'm going to give up, I can't take the driveshaft out. I hope some little pieces of the screwdriver broken blades will come out. I was able to put the plate back using 2 screw drivers one of each side of the tab.
