Hi, I'm cleaning my monopoint and I found out this small bulge is broken, what's its purpose and is it critical?
Please, do NOT attach pictures, I've told you over and over.
Use this link https://pics.twingotuningforum.de/
The device is the gasoline pressure regulator and I think this is either the adjustment screw or the anti-tamper seal for it.
Sorry. I thought that you mean not to put links to external pictures. I used the upload tool for those because they are small.
Its not allowed either. (copyright)
There is nothing to clean, just tell the problem.
Performance issues can be caused by the wax thermostat in the air filter housing. (hot summer problem)
You should disable it. So only cold air is sucked in.
I failed the emission test. Co was too high. And lights are too low. Also The engine sometimes stalls. I dismantled all monopoint parts, any tips how to test them and clean? The 4 torx bolts of the fuel pressure regulator were stuck so hard. The heads stripped and I had to use vise grips.
Little blackouts could be a dirty ckp sensor.
High Co could be a broken sealant washer:

The ckp is clean. I'm building an xr25pc circuit and will check. I'll update.
Too difficult at all.
U just need a multimeter to handle this car.
Check battery with engine block as minus pole.
Air filter, coolant sensor, hoses, clear injection nozzle steam and so on...
Bad catalsator is also possibel, then you can directly go to the knacker´s yard.
This car can be unthankful if you are not capable to handle it.
The sealant washer is new.
My only concern is maybe there are misfires due to bad distributor cap, I'm waiting for a new one.
Or the bad compression in cylinders 2, 3.
Battery is new.
Air filter is K&N and looks clean.
Coolant sensor clean, I've just rebuilt the engine.
Maybe indeed the catalytic converter is bad, but I'll try to address other issues first.

Just now I understood what you mean. I never paid attention to it before. And didn't know what it means. Turned out this thermostat is stuck closed and the cold air intake was always blocked.
If anyone needs an airbox thermostat, Volvo uses similar one, part number 1266826.
You have to Freeze it for while before assembly.
Totally uninteresting because of climate change.
Just close the warm air intake.
I read it's good for the environment and car to have it.
