Put E7J in to 1996 Twingo?
#4
I think that´s clear, that the exhaust system has to be modified. I would use manifold, down pipe and catalyst from the E7J and make the flange of the twingo-mid-section specific.

If you use the engine out of the R19 then it should fit without problems as the R19 also like the Twingo don´t use the upper right engine mount, so you don´t need another timing belt cover:

Regarding AC, and alternator this should fit, may be the hoses have to modified. Does your twingo actually have AC?

Regarding ECU: I would try to get a complete engine, that means engine with ALL ancillary units, the COMPLETE engine cable harness, with ALL sensors INCLUDING the ECU.

"About the air filter, I think it's easy problem to solve (K&N suction kit)."

"....but I think this is also illegal in israel and will reduce power due to hot air sucking."
