C3G engine head removal - Twingo 95
After 1000 km I checked compression again and it improved. Before I had:
1. 125psi
2. 80psi
3. 90psi
4. 140psi

And now:
1. 150psi
2. 110psi
3. 110psi
4. 175psi

About 20 percent increase.

I'm going to re-check valve clearance now.

You can't enhance the compression by adjusting the valve clearence unless ist was completely wrong (to tight) in the beginning.
Just drive the car and see what happens.

Yes, car runs great except during the first few minutes when engine is cold. I need to let it warm up a few minutes on idle, Or else the engine chalks.
I am going to check the ecu for problems with xr25pc when the cables I had ordered arrive.

It was the engine coolant temperature sensor. I replaced it and it fixed the problem.

Remove the screws and pull it downwards.
Never mind the rigid lines, at the other end they are flexible.

You are right, those guys did it like this:

Very bad pressure values.
Cylinder 2 and 3.
Probably, something went wrong with your overhauling.

Actually the car runs great. Maybe the valves don't seal properly or the head is distorted too much but it works as before if not even better. I don't feel any problem.

Interesting, so what about acceleration and maximum speed ??

It's great, I can get to 150kmh, 160kmh, accelaration I haven't measured but looks good.

Well, I measured 15 seconds acceleration from 0 -100 km/h. Specs says 14 seconds And top speed 150 km/h so it runs according to specs, I'm surprised. I do have jerkings when I move from full opened throttle on high speeds to a closed throttle , I have to do it gradually.

And fuel consumption is under 3 l/100km, i know.

So unfortunately I have to remove the oil sump again because I got a little leak on the right side. I'm going to put a lot of sealant now. I wanted to tell I found out how to remove the air conditioning compressor without opening the lines. There are metal pipes which are not flexible. That's why I couldn't move it. I found out there is a hidden bracket that holds them in place behind the front subframe. Removing one screw there allows flexibility. If anyone can give me advice how to put the sealant I will appreciate it. The manual says not to put sealant in some places but I want to put it everywhere also under the 2 half moon rubbers , is that ok?
