Many if not all "Easy"s were convertet to ordinary clutch. The shift stick should have a contact in this case, look for it. Besides the ECU outside? I wanted to remove the connector at the beginning because I thought it's for an aftermarket alarm system. But I understood its original. Also my car didn't start anymore after I removed the connector's ground. Took me a whilr to realize it's the reason. The relais prevented the motor from starting if a gear was engaged an the clutch wasn't disconnected.
